JUCED Appoints Sam Kane as Non-Executive Director and Director of Communications
JUCED, the UK's first fruit-based protein drink, is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Kane as Non-Executive Director and Director of Communications. In this dual role, Sam will lead all communications activity for the brand, overseeing strategy, creative direction, execution, and media relations.
Sam brings with him extensive experience at the highest levels of brand communications, most recently as Global Head of Communications at Gymshark, where he played a central role in shaping one of the world's most recognised fitness brands. He has also been working with JUCED through his own consultancy, SKX Communications, and this appointment formalises a deepening relationship rooted in shared conviction about the brand's potential.

JUCED was founded by Jed Thirkettle, who was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the age of eight. Frustrated by the lack of accessible, palatable protein options - and motivated by a personal need for high-quality nutrition - Jed set out to create a genuinely different kind of product. The brand has recently launched a new website and brand identity built around a single, clear platform: Clean Protein - a proposition that defines both what JUCED is and what it is not. JUCED now enters its next phase with a clear brand identity, a growing commercial foundation, and a strengthened leadership team.
